This training aims to develop students’ understanding of basic science concepts. Students learn the difference between the atmosphere and the weather, as well as the main parts of plants and the function of each part. The training also focuses on classifying living organisms, distinguishing between vertebrate and invertebrate animals, and recognizing the main animal groups. The training relies on hands-on activities and discussions that help students observe, classify, and connect scientific concepts to their surrounding environment.

What will i learn?

• The student will be able to: Recognize the relationship between the sun and the Earth. Identify ways the sun affects the Earth, including providing light and warmth. Observe and compare day-to-day weather changes. Observe, record, and compare weather changes from month to month. Compare temperatures and the type and amount of precipitation across different months. Identify the impact of weather changes on daily activities. Identify and describe patterns of weather conditions based on collected data. Describe observable changes in water on the Earth’s surface. Recognize that water can change between liquid and solid states. Identify parts of plants and describe the function of each part. Explain, with reasons, that all living things are made of parts. Provide evidence that organisms have parts that help them carry out basic life functions. Compare how external features of plants and animals help them survive in different environments. Gather information showing that humans and animals have different body parts used to find and take in food. Investigate and identify body parts that help humans and animals sense and respond to danger.
