This course introduces students to basic science concepts related to the environment, matter, energy, and natural resources. Students will explore how living and non-living factors interact in different habitats, how environments change over time, and how scientific tools help us observe small details. The course also helps students understand changes in matter, mixtures, heat, and electricity as forms of energy. In addition, students will learn about different types of natural resources and their importance in everyday life.

What will i learn?

• By the end of this course, students will be able to: Explain the concept of the environment and identify its living and non-living components that surround organisms. Describe habitats such as streams and woodlands and explain the conditions that support living things in them. Explain how environments change due to natural processes and human activities. Identify scientific tools such as a magnifying glass and a microscope and explain how they help us see small parts of things. Explore how matter changes as a result of different processes. Explain why some mixtures are harder to separate than others and identify simple separation methods. Explain the concept of heat as a form of energy and its effects on materials. Recognize electricity as a form of energy and understand its importance in everyday life. Identify different types of resources and explain their importance in daily life. Recognize natural resources such as air, water, soil, and wood and explain their importance for living things and human life.
