Students will develop their mathematical skills in numbers, operations, algebra, geometry, and data analysis. They will learn to factor numbers, perform division with decimals, and apply properties of operations to evaluate expressions. Students will also study integers, percents, and their relationships with fractions and decimals. In geometry, they will explore lines, angles, triangles, quadrilaterals, and calculate area, perimeter, surface area, and volume. Additionally, they will analyze data using mean, median, mode, and line graphs, and learn to graph linear equations on the coordinate plane to solve problems.

What will i learn?

• Identify the prime factors of numbers. Divide whole numbers and write the quotient as a decimal. Find the mean, median, and mode and interpret line graphs. Apply the properties of addition and multiplication and use the order of operations to evaluate expressions. Identify lines, angles, triangles, and quadrilaterals. Calculate area, perimeter, surface area, and volume. Relate percents to fractions and decimals and find the percent of a number. Compare, order, add, and subtract integers. Graph linear equations on the coordinate plane and use graphs to solve problems.
