وصف الدرس التعليمية

This course introduces learners to the study of water, ecosystems, and cells. Students explore the water cycle, weather patterns, and the roles of oceans. They learn how living and non-living components interact in ecosystems, including habitats, niches, and biotic/abiotic factors. The course also covers human impacts on the environment. In biology, learners study cell structures, functions, and organization, including unicellular organisms and the differences between plant and animal cells, building a foundation for understanding life at both microscopic and ecosystem levels.

What will i learn?

  • By the end of the course, the learner will be able to: Explain how water changes between solid, liquid, and gas states. Describe the stages of the water cycle: evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and collection. Explain how precipitation forms and how oceans affect weather. Use water cycle vocabulary correctly. Define and describe ecosystems, communities, biomes, habitats, and niches. Explain biotic and abiotic factors in an environment. Identify positive and negative human impacts on the environment. Identify and describe the main structures (organelles) of a cell and their functions. Explain how unicellular organisms carry out life processes. Compare plant and animal cells and cells from different organisms. Describe levels of organization in living things: cells → tissues → organs → organ systems → organism.
